Just like China and North Korea

“You’re just like China and North Korea” is what those promoting the gay agenda say to Christians who don’t want their marriages gay or their children propagandized.  And you know what? They’re wrong; we’re worse.

But not in the way they think.  I’m not even sure what the position of those two countries is relative to the gay agenda. But everyone knows they are oppressive, repressive, and retrograde on individual rights, so it seems reasonable to conclude that they wouldn’t support the freedom to marry anyone, anything, or as many you want.  And that is where we are heading. Once the Supreme Court decides defining marriage as being between one man and women is arbitrary there is no stopping point that can’t be argued as also being arbitrary.

No one is allowed to be opposed to the gay agenda on the grounds of Natural Law or Scripture.  They only oppose it because they hate freedom, individualism, and personal choice, just like China and North Korea do.

In America about the worst thing you can be labeled as being is “just like China and North Korea.”  And there is one area that we are just like them: Abortion.  China and North Korea, the U.S. and Canada are the only four countries that allow abortion at any time before birth. (Marvin Olasky, “Arrogant Power,” The World, January 15, 2014, 24).

When Uganda, Nigeria, or any other Third World country passes a law against the gay agenda or turns back its tide even a little, talking heads and blithering bloggers are quick to point out that in some places in the United States gays still can’t marry.  Why doesn’t anyone ever point out that only 4 countries on the planet allow babies to be aborted at any time before birth?  Why doesn’t anyone point out that in this regard the U.S. keeps company with such world-class nut jobs as Kim Jong-un and such backward oppressive regimes as communist China?

We’re just like China and North Korea.  Do you think it could be said that if the preaching of repentance the Pro-Life movement has been doing for 40 years in America had been done in those two countries they would have repented long ago?  If so, then they shall stand up on the Last Day and convict us.
